This pump was often called the "Telstra" pump as it was very popular with the Telstra field guys for pumping out flooded pits and trenches. Made in America, the Porta-Matic or Versa-Matic as it is also called can pump a massive 150 litres per minute at 1.5m of head and at 6.0m of head the flow is still a very respectable 70 l/min. Supplied with a 1 1/2" female BSP threaded outlet, 30' of electrical cable and alligator clips, in-line switch and able to fit into a 250mm diameter opening, this is often the ideal pump for the job.
