Product Description
We build this hot water pressure boosting pump, wire it electrically and wet test it for correct function before dispatch. The Ward pump has a 0.65 kW single phase motor and the pump end is all 304 stainless steel with a carbon/ceramic/EPDM mechanical seal and the temperature rating is a maximum of 85 degrees C so it is suitable for use with hot water to 85 degrees. We install an Australian made brass flow switch on the outlet of the pump and this provides automatic control of the pump. The HotWater3-3 must be installed in-line below the gravity hot water unit, do not install any check valves or one-way valves on the inlet or outlet of the HotWater3-3. The HotWater3-3 is designed to increase the pressure of the hot water into the house outlets when the source of the hot water is a roof installed gravity hot water system, the HotWater3-3 will increase hot water pressure, at 10 L/min flow the hot water pressure will be 325 kPa, at 20 L/min it will be 310 kPa. Warning: Hot water must be less than 85 degrees C.
