Product Description
This is the medium pump and larger capacity filter unit that would generally be installed on a rainwater tank where the pump is to supply clean filtered water to the whole house. These filters consist of the 40mm 25 micron disk filter (which is washable), this will remove all particles larger than 25 micron or 0.025 of a millimetre which is pretty small. The 40mm disk filter takes out the majority of the particles so that the 2 x 20" MaxFlow cartridge filters have a longer life. The first of the 20" MaxFlow filters contains a 10 micron carbon pleated cartridge which removes particles, taste, odour, rust and anthing that is larger than 10 micron. The second of the 20" MaxFlow cartridges is a 5 micron pleated cartridge and that tankes our particles that are 5 micron or larger, this makes the water very free of dirt particles.
This system has a filter water flow rate of up to 110 litres per minute which is very suitable for houses with 1-4 showers and up to 6 adults. This system does not kill or remove bacteria and so it should generally be used where the rainwater is clean and the roof is not subjected to lots of leaves, possums or other animals. - 1" suction pipe kit with hose tail, check valve, 1.0m of rubber suction pipe, 1" brass nut and tails, pump inlet pipe,
- Grundfos CMB-SP-3-56 fully automatic stainless steel pressure pump with PM2AD controller,
- 1 x set of discharge fittings including the 1" m & f elbow, 1" brass ball valve, 1" nipple, 1" brass nut and tails and 1.0m of 1" rubber hose with clamps,
- Filter inlet fittings including the 1" nipple, 1" x 1 1 1/2" socket,
- 40mm plastic disk filter with 25 micron disk stack and 1 x EM2-110 twin 20" filter unit with mounting bracket and screws, 1" nipple and 1" brass ball valve.
- 1 x Polyslab plastic pump base and plastic vented pump cover.
The suction pipe, discharge fittings, discharge pipe and filter units are all pre-assembled so that installation is just a matter of attaching the 4 main components, filling the pump with water and turning on the power point. The pump must be mounted on the Polyslab base that is included and protected from the elements with the pump cover that is also included. The filter mounting bracket must be screwed to a wall or other secure mounting, it must not be left on the ground. Longer lengths of both suction pipe and rubber discharge hose can be supplied to suit if required. Please note that the rainwater tank and tank valve are not included.
